The gospel can be summed up in this statement: Christ died for me; to give His life for me; to live His life through me. Life is what Christ has offered and life is what we need. Because of this we call our small groups LIFE GROUPS.
Our goal is that our LIFE GROUPS would experience authentic Biblical community and spiritual growth. Life Groups study the Bible together but its not a Bible Study; Life Groups pray together but its not a prayer meeting; Life Groups eat together but its not a picnic. Its all of this and a lot more. Life Groups meet to live out the dynamic of the early church as seen in Acts 2:42-47.
- Life Groups consist of 5-7 married couples or up to 14 adults (couples and/or singles). The family dynamic is important so children are encouraged to attend with their parents if possible. If child care is needed re-imbursement at a pre-approved rate is available.
- Life Groups are a 2-3 hour gathering in homes and meet at least three times a month.
- There is a time to fellowship around a meal or snack and catch up on Life.
- The Bible Study is usually sermon based and gives opportunity to dig a little deeper into what was taught on Sunday Morning and how it applies to Life.
- Life Groups pray together for needs within the group, our Church and Community. This binds the groups together because they are able to see God work through pray in everyday life.
- Every 3 months we encourage our Life Groups to plan a social event.
- Every 4 months we encourage our Life Groups to plan an outreach event, either within the Church or the Community. This helps our groups put into practice in Life what God has been teaching them in His Word.
